A call to awaken from illusions and embrace the abundant life God offers, inspired by Psalm 4.
Delighting in the Law of the Lord: The Good Life
"Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on His law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers." Psalms 1:1-3
Blessed- Happy- The Good Life. The Good Life belongs to those who delight in the law of the LORD. So... Do you believe this? Do you believe the good life is for those who follow Jesus? Those who joyfully live by the laws He laid down. You know He made it simple for us, right?
- Love God with everything you got.
- Love others as Jesus loved us.
You know... Our flesh will never delight in God's ways. It's terrified of giving itself over anything it can't control. And yet friends, we are more than our flesh. God has called us to the good life- Life in His Kingdom. He has even made a way for us to enter. Will we? Will we by faith surrender to Him and enter "The Good Life"?
Let's pray.
Jesus thank You for making a way for me to live The Good Life- Your Life! Holy Spirit lead me deeper and deeper into the life of Jesus. Father, I love You. I trust You. I worship You. Thank You Almighty God for all You have for me today. I can't wait! Amen.
Delighting in the Law of the Lord- Yielding fruit in season.
What you think. Y'all ready for that? Good. Me too. Come on then. Let's Go!
